Craig Newkirk's 2012

Holding it down for Surf City, Craig Newkirk had a stellar 2012 competitive season. We at Surf City aren't just a bunch of groms...we have legend status longboarders too!

Craig finished 1^st in Masters Longboard and 1^st in Grandmasters Shortboard in the SNC District of ESA for the 2012 season winning 5 of 6 Contests in Longboard and 5 of 6 Contests in Shortboard!

At ESA Mid Atlantic Regionals at Carolina Beach (in Ankle High Surf!) he finished 4^th in Grandmasters Shortboard and 5^th in Masters Longboard which of course qualified him for Easterns. At the ESA East Coast Championships in Nags Head he made the Final in Masters Longboard finishing 3^rd (narrowly missing 2^nd) and finished 13^th in Shortboard.

 He also won the Masters Longboard Division and finished 3^rd in the Vintage Division at the 1^st Annual Chris Crocker Memorial at Carolina Beach and made the Final of the Pro Longboard Division at the Clash of the Carolina’s at Surf City.
